Weekly Focus:
Building Blocks to
Healthier Behavior

  1. Journal Every Day. Write down everything - food & drink and include point values.
  2. Drink 8 (8oz) cups of water everyday.      
  3. Exercise at least 30 minutes for 3 days every week.
  4. Incorporate 3 healthy low carb snacks into your daily meal planning.
  5. Consume 5 servings of fruits and vegetables each day.
  6. Consume 2 healthy oils each day.

Catch the Pedometer Bug!

Walking is such a great way to burn calories and get the heart pumping.  Within Wellness Warriors, there is a small group who have caught the Pedometer Bug.  We are tracking our steps and reaching our goals!  Recent health guides say that we should walk 10,000 steps per day,  this averages a little under 5 miles and 500 calories burned.  This may sound like a lot, but once you get moving, you'll see that it is obtainable.
